Lighthouse Logistics Ltd./LTS Transportation Services

Ernest O'Toole began a company called "Cape Nova Express" in 1984.  At that time he had two trucks, and primarily moved beer, spirits and mining equipment between mainland Nova Scotia and Cape Breton.

As his business expanded, Ernie wanted to provide storage services to his customers.  In 1990, he launched "Lighthouse Moving and Storage".  A mere six years later, Ernie grew the long-haul trucking component, and changed his company's name to "Lighthouse Transport Services"

Growing demand for moving freight in and out of Halifax, as well as access to 15,000 square feet of warehouse space prompted Ernie to form "Lighthouse Logistics Limited" in 2003.
